White Oak 2-Common
From: $2.49
Like its brother Red Oak, White Oak is a very common choice for flooring. Most boards are typically light brown in their natural state; however the specie does take stain very nicely. “Northern” White Oak is uniform in color while grain patterns and color vary widely in other regions. Different looks can be achieved by choosing between grades and cuts (plainsawn, quartersawn and riftsawn). White Oak has the same hardness as Red Oak.
